Spring Training is just around the corner, so I thought I would get this started. Book has the Astros behind LA and NY. Let's see how that works for them. New additions to pitching staff bring the best starting rotation in MLB. All of last years team is returning. WS MVP, and AL MVP+MLB MVP. Correa just posted "#notsatisfied"

and Mariner's fans ask themselves . . . .will this be the year? they know it won't be, but they have to ask the question anyway.

I'm still waiting to see the opening day rosters. There are so many free agents still that it's hard to know who's got a real shot. I'm glad to see that Attanasio spent some money on the Brewers this winter but still can't believe how little Ohtani is making in Anaheim and how little the Marlins got back in trades.

I don't watch any sports but I always hope to hear about Da' Bears, Da' Bulls and Da' Cubs winning ... makes my Dad happy.

There are some nostalgia leagues around the country that I wish would have games televised. We have the St. Louis Browns. They all dress in authentic 19th Century garb, even made the same way with heavy cloth, etc.
The 1994 strike started the ruin of Baseball with me. The steroid era made watching it difficult. The 2002 strike (did they actually strike) nailed the coffin shut. I have not cared since. I won't even watch the Cardinals when they are in the WS. 2002 I was told to support the boys of summer because they are union. Difference is they get a scale and then salaries increased by performance into the multi-millions. I am against almost all sports and new movies for the same reason.

Can't help rooting for the home teams... Oakland A's and SF Giants. Do have a soft-spot for the Yankees, though...
