I have the 'one time alerts' set at Smoking Pipes for all that good stuff that is never in stock and have yet to receive notice from one. Recently some Rattray's products were back in stock at SmokingPipes.com and I stumbled on them by accident. Today while checking on my previous order I found they had two tins of Exotic Orange in stock; Another tobacco I had an alert set for. So I just purchased three different products and received no alert for any of them. Have these worked for any of you in the past?

Yes I have. If you get an alert and dont renew it you wont get another alert.

I had just recently made sure they were active. About a week prior to items on my list actually showing up.. Maybe I have something wrong in my settings or they are being seen as trash by my email.

One or twice. I read somewhere that it's a pretty sophisticated system, where they prioritize people who've been waiting longest or something.

I haven't used it a lot, but they've been good for me. Only thing is that you need to act fast. If you wait too long, your item may be gone again.

I've gotten a few from them and a few from P&C. Most importantly, I did get the Exotic Orange notice

I have one but it hasn't worked for me yet. I put in an alert for Exotic Orange several weeks ago and never received an alert. That must be some queue lined up over there.

Short answer is: Yes, they work.
I have received multiple notices for SG Kendal Plug.
Received notices for the original Carolina red flake and second release of Carolina red flake.
Still no notice for Stonehaven.😒
I know there were more, but that's all I can think of now.

They have always worked for me, although I have never tried setting up an alert for things like Stonehaven. I believe they must have thousands signed up for stuff like that and they do probably have some type of order system. I just got an alert for a Butera blend I like just last week.

Yes, indeed! Rattray's Exotic Orange, but it's been out of stock for a long time. SP recently got some in. It sold out, was restocked a few days later and I haven't checked to see if they still have any.

months. when i first heard about it i looked for it everywhere, no one had it, so i signed up for an alert at SP, and that was probably at least four months ago. no idea how long they had been out of it before that.
