I know that there are a lot of tobaccos out there, some universally acclaimed, others disdained.
What is a tobacco that you enjoy, that others tend to look down on?
One of mine is Old Shenandoah Appalachian Berry.
It smells and tastes like you are smoking a blueberry pie. I'm not sure that there is any tobacco in the blend. Ha! But I enjoy an occasional bowl, just not in one of my "good" pipes...
What is/are yours?

Sutliff Peach Cobbler here.
Absolutely love the stuff. Have a dedicated pipe for it and enjoy it at least once a week.

Excellent question. Hearth and Home Louisiana Red and AJ's Vaper are mighty fine smokes. Similarly, 4 Noggins Prairie Wind also fits the same bill.
Cornell & Diehl Opening Night is the most under rated Va available IMHO.
McClelland Old Church is mighty fine aro.

Maybe we can rename this thread as the "I don't know art, but I know what I like" thread

The nearest I'd come would probably be Firedance Flake. I'm not sure why because I smoke a lot of aros and don't feel like their guilty pleasures, but there's something so freakish about that one it's almost like you're really not supposed to like it.

Mine is Mixture 79. I know it has a lot of haters, but sometimes it's just what I need. I couldn't stand a steady diet of it though!

The lesser tobaccos that I like are Captain Black Royal and Brigadier Black Alamo. I don't care for most of the blends that attract the haters. I like Firedance Flake too.

I bought my Alamo before the price went up. It's still not bad, but if I can get a pound of Sutlff 10$ cheaper than two tins of Alamo, I'll just go that route.

Villiger 1888 - After Dinner Flake I enjoyed that one and the Mid-Day. Too bad they were discontinued. Villiger makes some great cigars, too, especially for the money. I guess their marketing doesn't click with U.S. buyers, though.

Hmmm... Based on TobaccoReviews.com, a lot of people don't like Half & Half and I do, so that might be my guilty pleasure!

A friend of my dad's (RIP, Mr Pratt), smoked half and half all the time I knew him. I worked at dad's company so that was a long time. I don't remember his exact explanation, but he described the Half and Half quite well. I smoke some for him, sometimes. Not my fave OTC/Codger, but it does the job. I think that's why Mr. Pratt liked it.

I'll up the ante. I find similarities between Half & Half and Exotic Orange!

Difference between Half and Half and Exotic Orange is H&H doesn't give me the desire to listen to the Sergeant Pepper album for four hours straight with a five pound bag of Oreo's in my lap

Never heard of those. The only country song I like is "Her and the Car and the Mobile Home was Gone"
