That looks great! I suppose the sporran goes in front of the kilt doesn´t it?

Goes whereve you want, unless you are posing for a camera, and are being traditional. Do not know about Hamlet but Macbeth may have had one.

Bits and pieces I keep in my Sporran, my fob watch, two small pipes ( hexagonal Harcastle briar and Ukrainian church warden bowl small Cossack mouthpiece) , two pocket knives (flexcut jackknife 2 whittling blades and Gerber shortcut tool knife) , my Thorfire torch, and pipe lighter and pipe tools. (And kitchen sink and the famous book, The noble art of being boring without even trying), and a piece of knotty pine wood to whittle.

With some good Scotch Whiskey in the engine even a BMW would get to the moon my friend. Pack some homemade porage flapjacks , some of my Haggis special and a stag jerky and you could hunt a Martian on the moon, ;-)

I did a bit of internet scrounging and found that these can be had for reasonable prices. I think I may get one to replace my old 2-pipe bag. A sporran would certainly make a better conversation piece, and could carry a bit more. Thanks for the awesome idea!

Frank I'm not Scottish and I wear a Kilt on occasion. Mine is about 8 yards of wool.
