Yes, i know this is a day early, but hubby and i go out a day early because on the actual day restaurants are too crazy for us to enjoy a meal. We ust got back from a lovely lunch. So, I thought I would start a thread where we can share photos of our Valentines and how we got them, lol. Hubby and I met in college. He was engaged and I was friends with both him and his fiancee. I actually hung around more with her than I did him. They got married, then she ran off with another guy and divorced him and hubby moved away. Didn't see or here from him for three years, but I sent him a graduation announcement anyway. Nine months later I got a letter from him. I wrote him back. A few weeks later he called. We had a three hour conversation, which was probably more than any of our previous conversations put together, lol. We echanged letters again, then he called again. At this point he expressed interest in dating me and I said no thanks. It was too weird thinking about going out with a friend who had been married to another friend. We kept writing, and he kept calling, and he eventually wore me down, lol. We've been together 23 years (hubby wants to count the two years of college before we got together, but I won't let him, lol) and married 21 3/4 years. We are best friends and he is definitely a gem

Lady Margaret that is a beautiful Wedding Pic. I was so happy to be the Flower Girl that day. PS - That really is a wonderful pic. I just can't pass up a good line With Xuan and my sainted God Parents almost 33 Years ago. Xuan and I had known each other less than five weeks

congratulations, John! hope you had a lovely evening I fixed a romantic meal of corned beef (for hubby that IS romantic) and we had a quiet evening at home watching The Big Bang Theory (another favorite of hubby's) |

sounds terrific, Darin! the evening would have been nicer if it hadn't been raining and we could have sat out on the patio with a fire and i was smoking a pipe.

It was raining here as well and I rode my motorcycle home in the rain. She told me not to drive but I made it home alive and she said that only proves that I'm insane. She may be right ... I may be crazy. But, it just may be a lunatic she's looking for. ... and now she's got one! |
