The way this site runs is amazing. When I post, it goes flying. The arrows on the side make it so much easier to go up or down. Everything is laid out for ease of use. I feel like I have jumped into the future and this how forums should run. Thanks to whoever made this possible.

Thanks for the kind comments. Justin (sparks) works very hard to make sure that the forum remains a comfortable place for people to hang out. Mike (crapgame) and I try to make sure that things don't get out of hand.
Our jobs are made easier by outstanding members here. Thanks for making this a welcoming place.

The few times the mods actually play mods around here I agree with, if not at that moment, the next morning. The ability to post on any subject, shy of politics is great, too. You can do that in other forums, but the responses here are second to none

Thanks for the kind words, cigrmaster. We do our best to keep thing running smooth and provide a functional, enjoyable and comfortable forum. I thank John and Mike for keeping an eye on the day to day, and of course we couldn't do it without our members. Without them, our existence is pointless. People spend quite a bit of their time here. It should never be a struggle. |

adding my sincere thanks to our fearless leader Justin (Sparks). Have known him for many years when we both showed up at a Buffalo, NY B&M. One day watched as the owner (Brian Kalnitz) worked, on the bench)guiding Justin's making a pipe. How amazing it was how Justin absorbed the instructions, even more so with the finished product xcept for final polish. Folks...IMO & a few of the regulars on Sat mornings..the guy is super talented. HHope eventually Justin can get workshop up & running when convenient. Most of ya know, Sparks also created a super live chat couple years back. I've got to say I agree whole heartedly. This forum is the best medium I've found to talk about all things to do with the pipe. We've also got some pretty great members on here as well. Thanks to all who make this possible.

the new member trend continues with 1 or 2 a day. and though repeating myself, please feel free to post. the WAYS (What Are You Smoking?) is a great way to get started.
I think some pipers find the introduction process awkward or intimidating, but it is voluntary and not a prerequisite.

I was in the yahoo pipe club, oh, 10 years ago or so and that was great. I stumbled on a pipe forum in 2011 but soon after I discovered all the information on youtube. Now after these years I have found myself needing something a little more or a little different than youtube and Instagram. I found my back to my original forum and it is fine and very informative. I guess I was just looking for a little bit different and easier to use format. Luckily I found you all here. This is an easy to use and very informative forum. I don't make youtube vids anymore but you can find me on IG midwestppipesmoker70 any time to see some of my pipes...etc. Anyway, I am glad to be a part of this forum.
