How about this by Tim Buckly. There have been many, many covers of this song, but man this one does it for me: I really like his son, Jeff Buckley but never really got into his dad. Tim died at 28 and his son only made it to 30. |

How do you like this CD? It seems to have a great (mellow, for the most part) song selection. Do you like the running order of the songs? I had So Long Ago, SO Clear, but my CD up and disappeared on me, and that does not happen to me. I am going to order SO, Long Ago, So Clear and probably Light & Shadow. Thanks for the inspiration (and reminder I need to do it). Well, now I just saw Vangelis: The Collection. A 2 CD set which also has some insanely good songs on it. It's remastered by Rhino too, which (in the past) means it should be well done. I just said screw it and ordered both So Long Ago, So Clear (again) and Light & Dark. It seemed the best way to go. |
