Hi, listening to US hymns on Pure internet radio, as the Governor says Knowest thy place , as the Philosopher says, knoweth thyself , as Christ says the water of life is free, followeth me, waiting for judgement day smoking in peace. Bye. PS. Hymns and favourites.

After fishing & communing with nature I feel more amenable to music, & some Euro Asian fusion.

From a stage in your heart, I can tell that you're far from yourself when you barter your lust for your health. And when you claim it's all a play, and you just don't care, I only stare… I’m a director watching you rehearse. You say, "Lend me your eyes to evolve from that actor I fight in the dark, where I'm two twins I can't tell apart!" But you remember which is which when the wrong man wins. You will hate who you are ’til you overthrow who you've been. How’d you expect your soul to send a whole patrol if you were too far gone for me to know where to find you? I’ve wandered out alone into your cold unknown to try to bring you home. So you forgot your way? Well I’m trying to remind you.

How about this by Tim Buckly. There have been many, many covers of this song, but man this one does it for me:

How about this by Tim Buckly. There have been many, many covers of this song, but man this one does it for me: I really like his son, Jeff Buckley but never really got into his dad. Tim died at 28 and his son only made it to 30.

...listening to Light & Shadow the best of Vangelis...
How do you like this CD? It seems to have a great (mellow, for the most part) song selection. Do you like the running order of the songs? I had So Long Ago, SO Clear, but my CD up and disappeared on me, and that does not happen to me. I am going to order SO, Long Ago, So Clear and probably Light & Shadow. Thanks for the inspiration (and reminder I need to do it). Well, now I just saw Vangelis: The Collection. A 2 CD set which also has some insanely good songs on it. It's remastered by Rhino too, which (in the past) means it should be well done. I just said screw it and ordered both So Long Ago, So Clear (again) and Light & Dark. It seemed the best way to go.
