Mozart Flute Concerto, the allegro maestoso. This is the Penzance of music. It is lean forward and listen music, not lean back and check your cell phone music. Because of that it is ideal for smoking pipe. One way of enjoying these kinds of things (that doesn't require a music background) is to try to discern the relationship between the flute and the orchestra. Do they like each other? Are they fighting? Are they being careful to preserve a fragile truce? Is one dominant and the other only supportive? Are they both trying to get your attention, at the expense of the other? Is one the pet of the other? Is there a YouTube video of it that you can recommend ? No.2 Concerto with James Galway is great too.

Listened to Bach's "Saint Matthew Passion" in the wee hours this morning, then some Bill Evans classic jazz while on the road today. Good for keeping the road rage down to a burble.

Yanni Live at the Acropolis, Greece I had to look up those headphones, as being a headphone junkie, I have not heard of those before. Now I need to find someone who has a set to audition them. Where in NC are you located?

These Bluedio Victory Pro 🎧 headphones 🎧 are as good as if not better in audio quality then my almost $650.00 Grado headphones. The Grado’s are a better build quality, that’s about it in all honesty. Oh, these Bluedio headphones list for just over $300.00. The audio quality will blow your mind, if one takes the time to set them up properly. Now I’ll tell you what I paid for them just over 3 months ago. I purchased them direct from the factory on eBay. They were selling for $265.00 or best offer. My offer directly was $95.00 and I will write a review and have a video posted on YouTube by someone also other than myself that also is an audiophile. Yup, I got them delivered to my door for $95.00. I also received an extended warranty from the factory for 3 years. ‘Twas my lucky day!!! They are now my #1 go to over ear 🎧 headphones 🎧. Below is a link to a video on YouTube you need to watch when you have time....you might be impressed.
PS Bluedio also makes two other models that sound phenomenal If your on a budget..they simply blow away Beats....which is now owned by 🍎 Apple 🍎! I live in Clayton but visiting my daughter in Knightdale for a while.

I have a very strong and true love for this old music, and brother groups like Louvin Brothers, Blue Sky Boys, Armstrong Twins, Osborne Brothers, Everly Brothers, the mandolin, the banjo, the fiddle. Yea I do like classical, a lot, mostly perhaps. But this stuff gets under your radar and into your heart before you have even figured whether you want to like it or not. (I also really like Kentucky!) Sometimes you feel like Latakia. Sometimes you don't.

Our El Paso drivers are a constant at the terminal....since I have all kinds of bluetooth devices, I dedicated one to the dispatch office, once they come in this comes on. Today, one of the drivers handed me a Montecristo No. 2 when it came on...win, win!

So he is picking them up tomorrow morning Ted-what does the rest of your system consist of? Marty, I’m still old school and use David Hafler equipment, that I’ve updated throughout the years changing and hand wire wrapping filters. When I was much younger I built a complete Dynaco system ( which was also designed and engineered by David Hafler ) consisting of all separate components.....solid state amp, high end tube pre-amp ( far superior than their transistorized pre-amp ) and solid state tuner. A B&O turntable and Ampex reel/reel. Bose 901 series IV speakers ( which Bose replaced “ FREE “ due to cone & coil deterioration/breakdown ) and Polk Mini speakers with a crossover network I built...........youbetcha you hear those highs now!!! At the time it blew my older siblings McIntosh out the door. He had the very popular AR9’s at the time. My amp never clipped ( wave form distortion )...can’t say the same with his McIntosh.....lol. Have a good night, Ted

Bach Cello Suite, played by "the man", Pablo Casals.
Likely one of the great recordings of all time.
OK I am a nerd. I am following along with the score.
As I smoke my Blonde.

When I need some peaceful/ relaxing music with no vocals I enjoy listening to Kitaro. If you’ve never had the pleasure, listen to this one song. There are full albums available for your listening pleasure on YouTube.
