Wow, Nice one! In my opinion, BBBs are great pipes and mostly underrated, especially the older pipes. I've got an old Thornycroft bull dog that is one of my favorites.
Now the question is, are you going to smoke it?

That's a beautiful looking pipe John. Love the look of the grain. Ted's #300?

A great classic looking Billiard with very nice grain, tough to beat. Congrats on another fine addition to your collection.

That's a real beauty. Be careful about the medallion as it is very thin. It came off my Thorneycroft in my pipe bag. Luckily I found it and superglued it back on. It's impossible to find replacements.

Nice, John. I have two BBB pipes and really like them. Where did you find that beauty? eBay from Great Estate Pipes. I've bought several pipes from him. He does excellent restoration work on smoked estates, but he also gets quite a few unsmoked pipes in as well. This seller is Chance Whittamore who there was an article about in P&T magazine 2 or 3 years ago. He also gets tables at the most of the major pipe shows.

Wow.. I gave away one of these to a friend who wanted to try pipe smoking! Not a bad pipe to start with. I do know it was one of my best smokers and I smoked more than any other pipe I had. I kinda wish I have him a few cobs instead! J/K.. I just wish I knew what I had .
