Hello everyone, I'm glad to be here and look forward to participating in the forums. I first tried pipe smoking in the 70's while serving in the Navy, it didn't last long, and cigarettes were easier. In 2002 out of the blue I decided to take up pipe smoking again and quit cigarettes, 16 years later here I am, joining the Briar Patch.

Welcome from Saint Louis, MO Marc. I started pipes about then and was an on and off piper. Smoked four packs of Pall Malls a day from the Seventies to the Mid Eighties. Off and on with pipes. Said when I was sixty I would start smoking one again and did.
