Other. Mainly South African: Goussards and Pietenpauws. Followed by USA because of all the cobs and a solitary Kaywoodie. If I discount the cobs the runner up would be English. Wish I could say Danish and German, but I just can't afford the ones I want (Note to paticipants: Modern Stanwells, post 2009, count as Italian, not Danish ) Nice poll Dramatwist

Danish by a nose over my hausegemacht pipes, which would make them US. Wait a little while and the Danish will be in second place, but, on the other hand, most of my own makes are Danish style.

Too close to call at the wire between American, Italian, English and Turkish. Counting cobs, American would have a plurality. Without cobs, that distinction would belong to the Italian makers with the others well represented.

I think I have more Peterson (or Irish) pipes than other nationalities. English coming in a close second.

I have more American made artisan pipes than any other country. The second most represented are my English pipes.

I am guessing that most Italian pipes are for export. You hear reports of pipe culture in Germany, Scandinavia and the U.K., but Italian pipe culture doesn't seem to get much mention.
