The New York Pipe Club is having an event at the Wyndham garden hotel in Newark on the 10th of March. Should be fun and Newark has some amazing restaurants so I’ll be hitting a few places up afterwards with my buddy brad. Hope some ny/nj folks could join.

There's usually a bunch of people who go to JR's in Whippany after the show. Last year there were about 30 people for the after party.

I'm still on the fence about going to the show and JR's. Trying to clean out the house for sale so it's taking a lot of our time.

Maybe I'll stir myself and go. Used to go to JR quite a lot. My office was in East Hanover just down the road.

I'm planning on attending the show again this year. I love JR's and hope to get there earlier in the week and I'd like to check out the Tobacco Shop at Ridgewood too.  |

Just an FYI, gonna hit up Pic-Nic on ferry street after the event. Great inexpensive Portuguese BBQ and it’s BYO. I’ll have about 4 liters of Sangria with me.

I’m happy to read that you had a good show! We’re returning home from eight days of smoke filled fun that included the pipe show. The Wyndham had a block of unadvertised smoking rooms so we could enjoy our time together without a fine. The show was sold out and the crowds were larger than than the last couple of years. I visited JR’s and The Tobacco Shop at Ridgewood in NJ. In Manhattan we survived the blizzard at Nat Sherman and The Carnegie Club with a stop at Davidoff lounge Thursday. Mrslax had a good time so it looks good for next year. Good times with Great friends is what makes the hobby really fun! |

Enjoyed the New York pipe show picked up a great looking Wilke pipe just about to break it in think I'll start with Crystal palace.
plus it was great meeting customers face to face at the show look forward to next years show.
