So I just ordered a couple of tins of cellar and on the town because of the impending McClelland doom. I ended up ordering two other tins that I had never tried just to get free shipping Dunhill nightcap and frog morton on the bayou.ive heard a lot about the night cap, but not much on on the bayou. What are y'alls thoughts on those two blends?

...all of the Frogs are delightful. Some find Nightcap a bit strong, but I like it...

I wasn't aware we were in a golden age. Well, I don't think it's *the end* (for the moment.) I have smoked a pipe for 45 years and have never enjoyed so many choices of pipes and tobaccos. A good way to keep up with the industry is to check out... tobaccobusiness.com/category/tobacco/pipe-tobacco/...from time to time.

Nightcap is to much for me on its own. I have mixed it with other mild blends and have smoked thru what I had opened at the time. I wouldn't order it but I wouldn't toss it if I stumbled on some either. I think I have a mylar bag of it, maybe an ounce or so, stashed away somewhere. Someone should trade me some 5100 for it.

I remember when Frog on the Bayou came out somewhere around 2002. I had already been a fan of the original Frog so when I saw Perique in it I grabbed it. I thought at the time it was a fantastic blend and quickly ordered more. Eventually I lost my taste for anything with Latakia but that Bayou was one tasty blend. I hope you enjoy it. I smoked Nightcap a few times but never took to it.
