Started a new job today way too far from where I live for my own comfort. Electoral times are annoying when your profession tends to work for the public sector. My internet has been down since Saturday as well.

BTW, another whiskey blend that might hit FMC tone on it's own is C&D Vieux Carré (Cellar Series). Smoking some right now. Been a while for FMC, so I can't swear to it, but pretty good and in a two ounce tin been wanting to try that one. hmmm, i think i have a sample somewhere. time to check the cellar....

Named after a section of New Orleans where Madame Delphine Lalaurie and her husband threw wild parties. When their manse caught on fire they fled, leaving slaves tied up in the upper floor. Nicholas Cage bought the house, def haunted, but had to sell it when he ran into problems. Many a book has been written about Auntie Delphine, but only a few of us know the truth... ooooooeeeeeeeeooooooo

Smoking some more PS English Oriental, only because it's close. A couple things I am learning on which blends and when to smoke them. Morning an English or a straight burley, Five Bros or SWR. If I start with English I wind up smoking English all day. If I start with Burley it makes ensuing smokes' flavors more obvious, like flavored Cavs. At night time it's going to be straight English again. I never thought I would be a big English smoker, but I find it less bitey and more forgiving when I choo choo puff the thing. Main thing is to stay away from Flavored black cavs in the morning. I use Biotene Mouthwash about five times a day, which helps tremendously.
My suspension from the Zeta Reticuli Sports Complex is over in a few days. They promise to give me back my tin foil beanie soon.
Remember Chroniclers, this info is Hush Hush, definitely Down Low, on the QT and Strictly Confidential

Busy few days. Just put out some ERR Match do to a little drying. I've had issues with ERR Match, do you find it smokes better (more flavor etc) when it dries? It really bugs me because Match Holiday smokes well wet.

It really bugs me because Match Holiday smokes well wet. I find it to be a much better burn with 30-60 min drying time. Flavors are a little less pronounced (barely) but worth it for a better smoking experience

Folks, I know it's starting out to be a good day. Bully the Lionhearted, lying next to me, head near the buttons on the back flap of my union suit, I cheesed the poor fellow rather noisily, even shaking the bed. He got up, shook it off, and then came by to lick my ear. You had to be there, folks. Doggies = Unlimited Love

It's been a great day here today and it's to a good one tomorrow too. I managed to try Peter stockebye kentucky Maroon (aka kentucky nougat).
I liked this blend. It was a nice wee smoke. Had it in my cobbit shire which I treated gently and managed not to get gurgle in the stem, so a win there.
If I get a chance to smoke tomorrow, I might try kendal cream (but this time rub it out). Or I might see if I still have that sample bag of bagpiper's dream.

I've got a tin of bagpiper somewhere. The way I found out about PS English Oriental was going through boxes of stuff put aside. Going to look up your PS KY Nougat and see if it is the same as their regular Nougat here

If it's made in kentucky then it's maybe just called nougat.
It's like in China, Chinese food is just called food.

Quick Secret for the Day
Smoking some original 90's Walnut. Pretty good. The H&H Mid-Town series has several Matches, many of them pretty much taste the same. Their Chestnut Blend is very close to this Walnut, so it gets my Secret Squirrel Thumbs Up. Note that the Sutliff Matches are pretty much the same, some with different cuts. So the Sutliff Walnut (not Chestnut) is the better bargain for bulk.
Not really sure if this is quite on the Down Low, but let's keep it Hush Hush for now

@cosmicbobo I'm curious to try Match Walnut one of these days Scott W I'm smoking dried out Sutliff RR now. It does smoke better but it's still not driving me wild. If this keeps up I may just have to accept that Match Holiday is more my taste. The phone company technitian finally made it by my house today and gave me time to start making some chocolate truffles.

zambini if you get some Sutliff J4 Burley it's better than RR. JimInks The Man From INKS turned me onto that one. Another option might be Butternut Burley, which is only at P&C and 4Noggins. Expensive, but I keep two pounds on hand. Chocolate Truffle Tobacco from Sutliff is pretty righteous. I mix a tad in with English sometimes. Reporting from my roadtrip to the other side of the bed...Signing off
