We havent found a place yet, but we're still looking. Rent in this town is high, salaries are low. Most places are just a 2br and with a family as large as mine, that won't work.

Something will come up soon enough.
Hey, look what you do for a living, sure you can get a crew together. Ask your Dad if you can add on to his home. Your “ own “ entrance 👌👍👍
We could use some rain... for fourteen days we have had fires raging east of the Superstitions... 70, 000 acres last I heard....It looks like we have an active volcano behind John R’s house.... much of it is too rugged for firefighters to even think about getting to on foot. Add the prevailing winds and canyons, and you have heap big problems!

See those clouds forming over the mountains? We don't normally have that. Usually it's clear blue. As the southwest heats up, the wind flows change directions and bring moisture up from the gulf of Mexico. Once it becomes strong enough, storms will follow. Rain in the desert is a wonderful thing! On my ride home I could smell it and saw a couple of lightning strikes.

We're soggy with rain. I got rained on out on the trail yesterday, then a huge storm hit and we had to shut everything down. Being horseback on top of a mountain in the midst of thunder and lightning just ain't cool. Off today, we'll see what tomorrow brings.
If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

Wow. That's a regular sight in Ireland. Actually, not that regular... There's often no blue sky breaking through the clouds.
47 degrees and Sunny. It will be a beautiful day. A little rain yesterday. Very green with lush vegetation around the waterways and irrigated fields. Woodlands looking very good, too.

It’s only 72 degrees Fahrenheit and full clouds now...........👍👍👍. Now no rain in today’s forecast but extremely humid. I was going food shopping this morning, due to a lousy night it will wait until Monday morning!!
Nice but wrong grill, no tail gate, wrong lights, bed should be oak, wrong turn signal switch, battery should under the cab but I digress.
I would imagine that a grill and tailgate are unobtainium for that year/ model, I bet that it was in pretty rough shape when the owner got it, I didn’t look close but I bet the bed had to be fabricated... them trucks were never meant to be “Sunday go to church” cars, and more often than not, put to hard use.

I love old trucks. I bought a 51 Ford F1 with the Corvette 265 2x4 barrel 225 hp engine already in. It ran great but needed a lot of work that I never had time or money to do. I almost bought a fully restored 50 F8 stake bed about 10 years ago but my wife pointed out that we had no place to park it. 💩💩🤠

I loved those F1s. In the early 1960s, We had a 1948 F1, red, of course, with a Mercury flathead V-8. The truck I learned to drive on after mastering our '42 Willys jeep.

Good luck, Josh. I know you'll find something you'll be happy with.
Was blessed with another 15 min storm and the spectacle of a canopy being torn to shreds. Like I said before a endless source of entertainment for me on the bulkhead. Got me a slushy iced tea at the desk with a Padron Corticos safe inside with the AC blowing.

back from the woods. Saturday morning and Sunday morning I dreamed that our stray cat had returned. at about 2pm today on our way home son texted to say the cat was back. when we got home he told us that on Saturday afternoon when he had the dog in the back yard he called to the dog and then he could hear the cat crying. he called to it and went to look in the alley where it was coming from but could not see it and it didn't come. on Sunday, late afternoon, he was in the next yard over, yelled at the dog and the cat started crying again. he said it sounded like it was coming from the yard behind us, but again he couldn't see anything and the cat didn't come, just kept crying. The best we can figure is the cat got trapped somewhere and eventually managed to get out. poor baby is practically skin and bones and sticks to us like glue. we want to sit out with it but it is raining. hopefully tomorrow i can get out and spend time with it. hubby took some milk out to him but he wanted to cuddle with hubby rather than eat. he has tried several times to follow us into the house. i wish we could bring him in, but the dog won't like that at all.
