10:30 in the swamp and 81degrees. Yesterday afternoon the clouds looked ominous I was sure it rain. But No, south of me and north of me. Lake is down a good two feet so Houston must be thirsty. Today is mommas birthday the old bird is getting old I should trade her in while she still has value for two 21 year old's to finish me off. Judging by the comments above it will not be long before we get to see pipers up north bundled up in their garages.

I get a checkup ever 4 months.Just got results from last one..Blood Work was fine..Blood Pressure was good..A1C was down from 7.4 to 7..I've lost 7 pounds..Starting to see some results from my hard work..Just a side note from someone who probably smokes 5 bowls a day..My Oxygen level was 98 which is excellent..Looks like I might be around bugging you folks for a while longer.

What about your church office. I would never smoke a pipe in the church. That wouldn't go down well at all....My office at home is a smoke-free zone. It's outside or the garage or nowhere at all...and the garage is cold too. I don't mind smoking in the garage in the winter. I keep the garage heated to 72deg.  |

Just got back from putting in an application and getting a job interview at a local building supply/lumber yard for winter. I got the job right off and start Monday. Apparently, in this day and age a mature, solid, dependable worker that can pass a drug test is hard to come by around here. I hate punching a clock, but I am pretty fond of eating.

That is certainly encouraging to read. A few years ago I applied at the Taos Walmart. No response to my application. I guess my background was not "suitable" or the wrong kind of name for Taos. |

I'm having a meeting with my sons principal in 30 mins. Apparently my son and ex wife have decided that he can drop out of school...
... not on my watch.
The school called me yesturday and asked if I would come in for a meeting. Damn right I will. Ex called a few minutes later MAD AT ME for agreeing to talk to them about his options.
This is exactly why he didn't need to move back in with her.
