In addition to some aging, I find that Fred Hanna's approach of cheating by baking jarred or tinned tobacco in an oven for 3 - 5 hours at 180 - 210 F gives a very nice effect similar to about a year or so age. It's worth trying. I'm not a VaPer lover, as you all may have noticed, I smoke about 99.35 % lat blends. But, baking Haddo's Blend made it fairly enjoyable to me. Makes lat blends smoother as well. I'm now going to try using my wife's sous vide immersion heater to heat jarred tobac in water at very tight temp control. How do you do this? For the latter, I'll put tobacco in a smal, jar, or a vacuum sealer bag, put the immersion In a bowl, heat water to about 185 degrees, put the jar/bag in the water for 4 to 5 hours. Let it sit about a week, and try it out. The immersion heater holds the temp quite accurately. For the oven method, jarred tobac, into a toaster oven at about 180 F or so, same 4-5 hours. This produces good results.
