Earlier I had CB Gold in a MM Country Gent as I installed a trailer hitch on my Highlander. It is my first pouch of CBG. Not sure what I think of it. I was too busy working to pay much attention to it.

Relaxing after a wonderful sesame chicken dinner with a bowl of Director’s Cut in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching A Slight Case of Murder starring Edward G. Robinson, and two of my favorite character actors, Ed Brophy and Allen Jenkins.

Cao patriot flake from 2006 loaded into the Dr Grabow Eldorado Ajustomatic 69s large billiard with a vulcanite saddle stem. I haven't smoked this pipe lately but I forgot how nicely it really smokes. Last finger of this bushmills black and a cheerwine for after the whiskeys gone. Chatting with the wife and cousin about all things under the sun.

The original 2011 Sutliff Luxury Balkan Blend 957 that won third place in the Chicago Pipe Show Balkan Sobranie 759 contest in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a black acrylic stem.

House mate hit the hay, so I'm exercising my right to get stinky.
I'm smoking a home brew. It was maybe a half ounce of extremely dry Black House that I added and ounce of very moist, rubbed out,bulk McClelland VaPer flake to. Let it sit for a week and now it's a beautiful mix with a near perfect moisture content. Both tobaccos are still present. The tin note is Black House and ketchup, but the flavour is quite nice. Pleasant surprise. Most of my mixtures fall short. Haha

They are beautifully grained pipes and great smokers. I've got my eye on a couple nos examples just because they are really good looking factory pipes and great smokers. |
