Ya'll think this hike in prices is part of a trend or just a one-off? Maybe prices go up quickly for a bit until people finish digesting the McClellend news?

There is the hype and urgency fueling prices now, but even after that dies down, there will always be people looking for a tin of something they love that is no longer in production. Not to mention the added value as cellared McClelland ages. |

I'm just happy that I discovered Tudor Castle last year. I thought it was right decent pipe tobacco, so I picked up a half dozen tins at $10 each. Whew, close call!

Having aged McClellands and Strang = Potential monetary gains Keeping and smoking said blends for yourself ... Priceless! I'll be keeping all my Motzek, HU, Germains, McClellands and other Unicorns for enjoyment and sharing with my fellow pipe community. |

I'd probably be selling it right at the point that the new stocks come in. I think I have some of their perique and I know I have an unopened tin of Old Dog, which I bought because it had a doggie on it. Hard to sell tobacco I bought for being a dog |
