Sometimes a low ball eBay bid wins! In early February, I won this very lightly smoked, made in Denmark, 1950s or 1960s Stanwell Hand Made 29 (Billiard) with registration number and "SELECTED BRIAR" stamp. It was so lightly smoked, the wood at the base or the mortise was still bare. The stampings are crisp but the stem logo is barely there. Stanwell's Hand Made series was top of the line. I'd put the quality of this cross grain Billiard with hand cut stem right up there with my Dunhill and Sasieni pipes from the same era.
