PIpestud's TR review of Smoker's Haven In-Between MIxture sez, "Germain doesn't fool me with this blend. It's Penzance in shag cut form. At least, that's my guess. Very similar flavor (if not identical), with the middle of the road English taste made heavenly by the special Germain preparation of the components listed above. A beauty of a smoke!" I cannot confirm or deny - at least not yet! I found Exotique to me more like Margate than Penzance - more Orientals, less Latakia. Both are ones you can pre-order from Smokers Haven. Margate is pretty darn good as well and somewhat easier to find than Penzance. I put Butera Pelican in this class, but it's hard to find too and on the endangered tobacco list. |

When I used to travel to Chicago I stayed at La Quinta near Buffalo Grove. When I would go to SF I stayed in Hampton Inn. Both of those were my favorites for extremely nice rooms and amenities. Holiday Inn next to Chinatown, SF for a while, but rooms were hit and miss. Great location, though. Holiday Inn in New Orleans not so good Again, LQ and Hampton offered so much more Oh, I did keep my Casino Token from HIexpress in Laughlin, NV |
