Hey guys. Still new at this. Maybe there's a thread for old pipe identification and dating, but I can't find it. Anyway, I have an old Goedewaagen Pipe with no numbers or name, save 'Made In Holland'. Here's some pix.

That one could be made anytime from 1940s to around 2000. The Amsterdam pipe museum is supposed to be updating their website according to some emails we exchanged, but otherwise there's not a lot information available in English. It is a very good pipe.

Thanks ronv69. It is indeed a good pipe. Smokes very cool and clean, although I don't like the thickness of the stem's mouthpiece.

sorta the Dutch equivalent of our corncob. I've had a couple and they do smoke as you describe. The stem/mortise area is somewhat delicate, so care exerted there pays off . . . and . . don't drop it!

My Zeniths have decent stems, but they are nice enough pipes to re-stem if needed. Norwood can make a stem for anything. He can also fit a new rubber or cork lining.

My pipe terminology isn't good. What is the proper name for the end of the stem that fits in your mouth? I called it the mouthpiece. Need to learn so as not to reveal my ignorance too many times.
