I'm certain the number is a little higher than that. Just yesterday, I added McClelland as the blender on a couple of McCranie's blends, and perhaps more of that is yet to be done. This is worse than I thought. Why must you gentleman upset me so early😌

I was thinking about this earlier and I'm glad I found the thread.
A way that this can affect the market that I didn't think of right away... With McClelland and Dunhill gone(though Dunhill weren't really the blender, but still consumed a large amount of premium tobacco) Is this going to lessen the demand for premium tobacco farming? I mean, if these guys growing the good stuff lose their customers, how long before its all just cigarette tobacco farmers?

...whatever the effect on other tobacco availability, it has certainly been a bummer... thankful I have a decent cellar going...

Thankfully, the UK blenders (SG, GH, JFG) rely more on tobaccos from India and Africa. Not sure about Dunhill/Orlik.
