In regard to tobac permeating clothing, a woman standing in line in front of me at the bank, turned, grabbed the lapel of my coat and inhaled deeply. She did not say a word, then stepped up to the teller, concluded her transaction and left without looking my way.

In another trip to the same bank, a young woman teller in training remarked on the tobac smell. As I was leaving, her supervisor had taken her aside and I suspect was dressing her down. I never saw that young lady at the bank again. She had not said anything unfriendly nor was she being judgemental. I hope her absence was due to going to another branch and not that she was fired.

That gave me an immediate woody well that's one reaction, but it was mostly odd, though she seemed normal enough otherwise.

Buy several of them. I get a cut of the profits! The only guy smoking a pipe for 40 years or so, and never had to buy any tobacco! I wish that was true. It is a known fact that your coat smells like fried eggs, bespeaking your profession in the trade. This tutorial may help you eliminate the problem:

You must use the lemons a lot, since you both lay a lot of bad eggs, and are such a sour puss!

My father died when I was 9,Camel cigarettes did him in. For years I would go in his closet to smell his corduroy sports coat that he wore to work every day. I can still smell the smoke.

Where is Lawitzke when you need him??? Sorry, it was a busy day at the egg factory. You people are close enough to figuring this out anyway. So, I guess that I can finally reveal where JimInks actually was... He was at the egg factory helping us to develop a new boutique artisan line of smoked eggs. It took quite a long time to determine the best location to place him under the egg conveyor belt, then his puff cadence relative to the conveyor speed had to be optimized. So, watch the shelves in your local store for such soon to be favorites as M79 flavor smoked eggs, Strang flavor smoked eggs, Molto Dolce flavor smoked eggs, and more! Don't be surprised if Jim disappears again for a bit. He needs to help us next with Captain Black Grape smoked jelly.

Wishful thinking John. As long as there's tobacco available, he'll never disappear!

Chinese Strang and Three Nuns varieties, I hope! Otherwise a steady diet of M79 and CB Grape. Good enough for him!

Sorry Jim, I can't buy any, let alone several--no collar. Need a collar to tuck my scarf into.

Actually, it was John's twin brother LawitzkeInks who was under the conveyor belt. John's too fat to fit under there. Man can't tell his twin brother from a Dodo bird... unless of course he looks in a mirror.

Speaking of eggs, clothes, and smell reminded me...
I was talking to a tanker driver on the cb radio years ago...he was hauling molten sulphur, after he passed me, I told him to quit cutting the cheese. He replied, "you have no idea"....his clothes would get just enough of the smell on them that if he went into a restaurant to order food, people thought he was farting or pooped his pants, so generally he packed a lunch.
I believe he had local runs, so at least he got away from it in his off hours.
