If you were to look at the Earth population you would find about 15% is left handed. With this in mind this means the lefties are a minority. If we were to look at the heavy equipment and car manufacturers we would find that these items are designed to be used right handed. Also if you look at your front door to your house it is also designed for right handed usage. Lets look at some household items, steak knives, butter knives, butcher knives (seraided) these are right handed. How look at a pair of sissors, if you are left handed you can use them but it can be challenging. In a lefties life there are many challenges in everyday life.
I write this because recently I purchased one of the P-Zip lighter inserts. After receiving it I found it wouldn't work if I tried to use it left handed. It is designed to be used right handed only.
Question: how many of you are left handed? I am.

I am right-handed. My children's mother is right-handed. Everybody in my family is right-handed. Everybody in my children's mother's family is right-handed.
Both of my children are left-handed.

Both my grandfathers were left handed and my father was left handed. When I started school we were Catholic at the time and went to a Catholic school. I was doing everything left handed but the nuns converted me to right handedness. I'm pretty much ambidextrous, my base functions are right handed but turn a wrench left handed.

I’m ambidextrous probably because when I was growing up there was nothing for lefty’s. I couldn’t use scissors in school because they wouldn’t cut left handed. Renting golf clubs when my dad would take me to play was difficult because maybe they had 1 left handed set. My father would teach me how to do things from a righty’s approach so over time, I learned how to do most things either way.
My son is left handed but my identical twin brothers daughter is right handed.
I write right handed, I throw left handed, I switch hit In baseball and golf and I kick with my right foot. I bowl lefty and eat lefty but handle a knife righty. I smoke a pipe with my left hand.
My point is, I’m all f**ked up.

Raises a question for me, a burning one: What steak or serrated knives are righties only?

I bought a drip coffee pot awhile back that was configured for left handers. Took awhile to adjust to and gave me pause to consider how much we right handers take for granted.
