I find cigars far too strong for me. I like the fact that you can alter the 'strength' of the pipe depending on the tobacco used. Since I started piping I've had one cigar - a Romeo & Julietta...I got 1/4 of the way down and binned it. If you are looking for a good mild body cigar, check out the Ashton line: ashtoncigar.com/cigars/ashton-cigars/ashtonAnother good mild bodied cigar would be www.macanudo.com/cigars/macanudo-gold-label/There are several mild AVOs as well. ExChef Being in the UK, those will likely be more expensive than Cubans. If you like the flavors of cigars, @legend Lover, you should be able to find packs of small cigars fairly easily. The Montecristos (Club or Puritos size) are excellent mild Cubans. The small Cohibas are a tad stronger, but in the smaller size not a problem. I'm a bit of a nicotine lightweight, by the way.

I used to like some long, slim Macanudos, but I outgrew it. I don't think I'll ever outgrow Macanudos. Maduro, Cafe - they're all good.

Thanks guys... What worked for me were hamlet cigars. They were right up my street.
I still prefer the pipe though.

My dad smoked Macanudo Prince Phillips for years. Whenever he went out of the country he would bring me back a box of Cubans but none for himself. He didn't like Cuban cigars because they were too strong for him. If anyone is looking for a milder Cuban, I always found the Juan Lopez - Seleccion No.1 to be a milder Cuban cigar but still with lots of flavor.
The times that I wanted a milder cigar for a morning smoke, I found the Aston Cabinet series to work quite nicely.

I had a Perla yesterday, and wow - what nice, flavorful cigar for something with such mild nicotine. Relatively cheap, too.

If it's wrong of me to ask it's OK to tell me to piss off. Nicely OK! LOL!

I'm now smoking more cigars than pipes, but that's because I am hanging out at the cigar shop weekly.

I only smoke Cubans but even with all the vitolas out there note they can be pretty one note compared to all the pipe tobacco options. I love the convenience of smoking a bowl and just letting it go whenever I want with no apprehension. You can't go back to a cigar later without it tasting like tar. Plus the pipes themselves are so cool.
