I'm looking for a nice snuff box to carry instead of the rather large Fribourg & Treyer or Samuel Gowith tins.
I don't take snuff often, but it does make a nice change when out and about - so a way to carry a small amount in the pocket would be nice.
Ideas, pics of your snuff boxes?

Think about contacting a local wood Turner to make you one. He can make it most.sizes and woods.

Good suggestion John, never thought about a custom wood box.

That Turner can make the box threaded.

Sometimes I use ( metal) old fashion snap open pill box. Fits in your pocket well.

There used to be something called a TripleTech box - it is set up for pinching, spooning, or back-of-hand. I don't think they're made anymore (glad I snapped mine up when I did!), but if you can find one get it.

You can get some pretty exotic looking pill boxes for reasonable prices. That's what I used to use

Thanks again for the link Charlie - I have this one on order (in my birth year to boot). I have seen coin rings before, but had no idea folks were making this sort of things from them as well... I need to get out more...

Those are very cool and look like quality craftsmanship. Gotta wonder who'd use a Soviet Union one, though.
