Totally flew under my radar...probably not a bad thing for my wallet though.
When Sp ran the Crown achievement promotion with the lost Hilson's pipes, that was a really good deal also...a pound of crown achievement along with well made briars that were made decades ago... mine is a really great smoker.
Sykes really knows how to dig through European attics...for us addicts.

I have 3 Italian Stanwells and 1 of them is one of my favorite pipes. However, the wood smokes different than my 7 Danish mades. |

That is a gorgeous Billiard. It reminds me of a Dunhill LB as it looks thick and sturdy. I also like the saddle stem and the really nice grain. Congrats on a fine addition to your collection.

The bowl is group 4: 0.75" x 1.5". Overall the dimensions are quite similar to my Dunhill group 4 Billiard (shape 60). |
