My wife hates the smell of this blend so I only smoke it outside.Today it's 70 degrees and sunny here in my neck of the woods. I just got through sitting on my porch and smoking my first bowl of Penzance of the year..My annual rite to usher in spring. After living in a cold snowy climate for 40 years I cherish every warm sunny day as if it's a gift..I read that Penzance is a bit hard to come by these days.I stocked up some time ago,so I still have enough to last me a while.I really just smoke it on special days anyway

I see you're in NC, beautiful state. Are you up in the mountains, on the coast, or somewhere in between?

Send some of that fine weather my way, Larry. Old Man Winter just won't let go here in the northeast.

Send some of that fine weather my way, Larry. Old Man Winter just won't let go here in the northeast. +1 to that. Weather in Ireland sucks. To make matters worse, Penzance isn't available in Ireland...although it's not readily available in the states either by the looks of things. I often dream of sitting in a rocking chair on my porch in a house in USA smoking my pipe in my retirement. Maybe one day that dream might come true. I'm glad you got a chance to what you did today. Roll on the better weather.

I'm just over 2 hours east of the mountains. On the Carolina side the're called Blue Ridge Mountains. On the Tennessee side Smokey Mountains. It's probably about 5 hours to the coast. It's a great place if you like living at a slower pace than in a large city.Which at my age I do.

Sounds like you're close enough to come to JR's in Mooresville on the 18th for the Pipe Meet, starts at 1 pm

Sounds like a perfect way to enjoy some Penzance. We hit 59 degrees yesterday here in Illinois but still a few weeks away from 70 I am afraid. I have been extremely fortunate with the acquisition of both Penzance and Stonehaven in the last year so I am stocked for a while. Penzance was my first Premium blend and opening that first tin was magic for me. Penzance will always be number one for me because of that first experience.
