A couple of weeks back, I won two GBD' on eBay. This one (an unknown year), a GBD 9622 Collector Prehistoric Dublin, was the one I was actually bidding on. The specs are: Length: 6" Height: 2 5/16" Bowl Width: 1 5/8" Chamber Width: 7/8" Chamber Depth: 2 1/16" Stem: Perspex I performed some basic touch-ups; reamed the inside out; cleaned the mortise/airway; dumped some Pipemaster's Clean and Cure inside the bowl for a few seconds and drained it out from the mortise, then let the entire bowl/stummel dry out overnight; the Perspex stem/bit airway was a dark amber color from the tars, and this was cleaned up and sanitized; the outside of the stem was worked over lightly with a Mr. Clean Magic Cleaner to remove a bit of chatter, and followed-up with some Halcyon II Wax; the bowl/stummel was clean using undiluted Murphy Oil Soap, a medium tooth brush, and some elbow grease, and the exterior was rinsed with warm water and immediately dried with a clean cloth; the bowl rim was cleaned with some personal spit and part of a paper towel which removed a small charring area, and this was followed-up with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser just for the fun of it; about 3 -4 coats of Halcyon II Wax were applied to the bowl, bowl rim, and stummel and hand buffed; for the time being, I'm satisfied, but am looking forward to purchasing a low speed bench buffer to apply some different waxes, and to give the pipe a better outlook. Enjoy the rest of the pix...

Great looking pipe and it looks almost new. Congrats on a fine addition to your collection, and I hope it smokes great for you.

Your efforts certainly paid off as that is a real beauty. Happy smoke rings with it.

Very nice! I've got a couple of the Pre-historics with Perspex stems (Billiard and Pot) and they are great smokers ... enjoy!
