Good day, all.
As some of you know, I've had a fair few Brighams come across my bench and move out into the hands and rotations of folks across North America. Up until recently, I had held onto exactly one. Which, surprisingly, was one of the French made current era Chinooks. I've long lauded the older Canadian made pipes as a great deal on the estate market and solid value for money. But I hadn't yet run across the pipe that sang to me.
Actually, that's not exactly the case. I have a friend who was looking for a specific Brigham Norseman which I found, coveted, but sent on in good faith. That pipe, went from Toronto, to Philly, to Kearney, Ontario before ending up on my rack. In the meantime, I found myself really attracted to Brigham's Author shape (which to me looks a little to Prince-esque to be an Author, but what the hell do i know). By happy accident, my friend who was selling the Norseman was also selling a 7 Dot Author. For those of you who aren't aware, the 7 dot pipes are the predecessor to today's Acadian line.
Anyway, here they are, my two new additions.
