1). When is the next meeting (Will be my first)
2). Why is the AZP not listed under the community feed for pipe club directory?

Saturday April 14th will be our next meeting. I believe that the community feed is set up for non pipe club related content, more about blogs and companies that receive support. When the meeting is entered into the calendar, it is populated under: Pipe Community - News & Eventsthebriarpatchforum.com/board/16/pipe-community-news-eventsTomorrow I will be updating the website, the Facebook page, announcing it on Gentleman's pipe smoking society, and corncob nation along with Big Sticks Facebook page. The website usually says that the pipe club meetings are held on the second Saturday of every month, somehow that part didn't get posted last month, I will correct that. I try not to post a month ahead because although we have never had a cancellation since we started, I want to be fairly sure that I don't have to go back and revise all the sites with a correction, and I don't want people to show up expecting a club meeting because they first saw a post that unbeknownst to them was revised later....Up until about a month ago I was working 70 hours a week including my commute times, so I didn't want to have to go into revising dates. www.azpipeclub.com/meetings.htmlwww.facebook.com/azpipeclub/www.facebook.com/groups/2208299084/www.facebook.com/groups/246271042203330/Big sticks is where we meet at, but their Facebook page doesn't allow their "Friends" to post directly so it doesn't really get promoted there. www.facebook.com/BigSticksFineCigars/I also send out emails to all attendees that want their email to be included in the distribution list, some choose not to. We are a pretty informal group, we don't call the meeting to order or have any of the practices of that sort. I do want to going forward have a discussion about particular topics, I intended to do so last month, but we all got caught up in the general freewheeling discussions about everything in the pipe community, sports, entertainment, etc...This is back on the agenda: If you ever see that I am online on this forum and not responding, quite often I forget to close all the open apps on my Iphone and it appears that I am online. |

I really enjoyed the two AZPC meetings I attended last winter. Big Sticks is a great shop! I really miss having a local club since ours disbanded.  |
