...did a cellar tally this evening... not going to bore you with the details, but I have right around 20 lbs. which I *think* is fairly modest...

I'm at near 1.4 kgs. I'm expecting around 250g at the end of April and I'm done for the year. My tobacco drawer is already having problems closing and honestly, I don't expect to smoke more than 7 more tins this year.

I'm right there with you Dramatwist. My cellar is just shy of 21 lbs. I consider this a pretty modest amount as well. Hmmm, I feel a TAD attack coming on ...

I really don't have a clue as to a cellar tally...but with an antique buffet and an antique drawered amoire packed, I don't dare move them without at least half emptying them.
Like Pa Kettle....some day I will get around to it.

I stopped counting at 100, but am guessing it's 115-120 now.

I have given up on maintaining an exact tally, but I would estimate I have approximately 45pounds put away. When I reached 30 pounds I recognized that I had enough to last my remaining years and needed no more. So much for that resolution.

Also did a tally the other day. Because of my location and horrific exchange rates, import duties and taxes, I only order about twice a year. My pitiful cellar stands at a mere 13 lbs.

My pitiful cellar stands at a mere 13 lbs. I can beat that. Mine stands at a mere 2 lbs and that's about as large as it is going to be at any given time.

I think I might beat even that...I have about 1 lb (if that).

I've got enough to last the rest of my life and then some. Not saying how much I've got as you guys would have me committed to an asylum. I have over 37 pounds of McClelland tobacco, so I'm happy about that. Didn't see the closure coming; always figured that they would sell the company to someone who would keep it going.

To tally I might have to write some numbers down.
She might find those numbers, that could be bad.
Let's just say almost enough...

Based on current rate of consumption I have enough to last me 15 years, may need a few more lbs to have enough to last me while I’m above ground. Possibly some PS blends when the 25% off sale occurs in August.

I am sitting at about 20 lbs. Pretty happy but so much more that I'd like to get cellared.

I have approximately 28 pounds according to an app called ‘Arborea’. I’m grateful to have what I’ve got, but I have a ‘healthy’ fear my regulars will vanish overnight. As a result of the market uncertainties, I don’t know what the right amount is. ] I average four bowls a day. According to my guesstimates, I need approximately two pounds/year per blend. Yes this is trivial compared to real life problems. Nonetheless, to paraphrase a fellow enthusiast, pipe smoking is a way of life for me.

I quit counting everything when my pipes totaled over 200. I imagine I have enough tobacco and cigars!

Ballpark figures ... 15-20 lbs tins, 25-30 lbs bulk, 40-50 lbs whole leaf. Plus, I have about 30 plants of my own going in this year.

I've got about 25lb. At my rate of smoking, if I live as long as my father (here's hoping), I figure I need about 150 lbs More. I better get busy, gotta find the cash.

More than all of the above. Am I so wrong? lol hp les Les, There are nations with less tobacco than you. I did some calculations and figure it's about 130 lbs of some 70 blends, which should last me for 20 years, if not more. So I basically have a more than lifetime supply. So, McClelland, McSchmelland, Estoterica, Idon'tcareica. I don't need to buy another shred of it. Of course, I'll still buy a tin every now and then. To stop altogether is to admit our mortality.

I am way lower than anyone here as I am a neophyte. However, I will be changing that this weekend, I am supposed to be getting some bulk from my local vendor. All goes well, I'll be at about 2lbs.
I'll make a list of what I procured over the weekend.

I miss the days when this was not an issue and even a supermarket had a respectable selection of tobaccos and my local drug store chain had a selection of pipes and tobacco rivaling that of today's small brick & mortar.
