I’ve been with my current employer for almost 8 years and it’s really been a dream career with them. I love the company and they treat me very well. Last week a VP spot opened up and it’s a position of which there are only 7 in the country (we employ 52000 people). Today I got the blessing from my VP to go after this job and next week I begin the interview process. It’s rare that a field sales rep jumps from where they are to this position so I’d like to ask for some good juju that all goes well. This could be a game changer for me going forward and I’m not sure when an opportunity like this will present itself again.
