...most of my pipes are straight... wasn't a conscious decision, but that's how it turned out.
How about you?

I think the bent shape (to me, a classic pipe shape) looks better, but my moist breath has forced me down a straight pipe route, so I'm purposefully purchasing straight pipes, despite preferring bent ones.

I like both, but most of mine are straight.

Almost all mine are straight too. Not sure why. I just like the way they look.

While I don't mind a 1/4 to 1/2 bend, that's as far as I go. My few pipes that are further bent than that see very little action.

1/4 bent is my preference and dominates my collection. Bulldog, Rhodesian, Author, etc...

I like, buy, make and smoke both about equally. Straights are crisply attractive, and I like the way a deep bent hangs comfortably when clenching, like an oom Paul.

As others say a bent looks better and is easier on the mouth but I often find difficult to use with a pipe cleaner.

I prefer bent stems for a few reasons, mostly ergonomic.

I run at about 50-50 . I prefer a 1/8-1/4 bent if I am going that way and will go full bent only if it passes a fluffy pipe cleaner.

I'm a bit disappointed. Judging by the title, I thought this thread would be about exotic sexual practices.

It is close for me, but bent pipes are more numerous in my collection. Not by much. I tend to smoke ones with very minmal bends though. I have a few full bent pipes that I rarely smoke.
