first smoke of the day was MacB Scottish in the no-name Italian sandblasted Rhodesian I picked up at Eastwold Tobacco in Sioux Falls. snow storm here today. roads are closed. my lovely wife had a craving for a Latte and I for a Cappuccino. I used the Bialetti stove top maker, which I also picked up in Sioux Falls. I should have gotten one 20 years ago. my sister got hers in Italy and has used it near every day for more than 20 years. I think I'm gonna go have some Irish Flake in the Ropp Dublin. It’s in the 70s in NY. A snowstorm, be safe and enjoy them smokes .

Falling behind, work is the curse of the smoking class. Finished a bowl of C&D Pirate Cake earlier in my Pibe Dan Hausegemacht, now working on GH Dark Birds Eye in a GBD. You bunch of enablers are responsible for getting me into Dark Fired Kentucky stuff!

Hubby and I went out to breakfast and did grocery shopping, and I was looking forward to sitting outside in the shade and smoking for the afternoon, but it's 90 degrees and not very pleasant even in the shade, so I only got two half bowls in, and now I'm hiding indoors until evening.
I smoked Oriental Silk in a MM apple Diplomat and Star of the East Gold in a MM Twain, sipping cold water.

Now smoking McCranie’s 1983 Red Ribbon in an unbranded '70s Charatan smooth straight Billiard with a black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Cubs game. Glad I'm not there in 28 degree weather. Molly agrees because she's snoozin' by my feet. Suzy is somewhere snoozin', too.

2nd round of G&H Rum Flake in a mini cob... three years of jar-aging have taken the jagged raw edges out leaving flavor spectrum unmuddied and discernible. Great strength with a good nic kick... think I'll stick with this one for the rest of the day ;-)

Now smoking MacBaren Burley London Blend in a 2001 black sandblasted three quarter bend Rinaldo Lithos YY bulldog with a tortoise shell acrylic stem. Braves and Cubs are still playing, the poor slobs!!! 10-7 Braves in the 8th, but the Cubs are poised to come back here. Braves' bullpen is more like bull cookies. It was 10-2.
I was right! It's 10-10 now. Braves bullpen chokes again.
