About to light up a bowl of McCranie’s 1983 Red Ribbon in an unbranded '70s Charatan smooth straight Billiard with a black vulcanite stem. I've been going through this tin pretty quickly.

The whole family conked out after our morning jaunt. Then the yardwork started. Tilled the garden and cleaned out the asparagus bed. I dont know if they made it through the winter or not, this would be the first year we could eat any. Inspected the rhubarb and well have 5 huge plants again this year. Now after all the heavy lifting is done its again swr in the mm little devil acorn with a birch beer to chase it. Tomorrow I'll get the tractor out and start with one of the major projects for the spring, clearing the fence and pulling some of the soil back from the foundation of the barn.

Drucquer & Sons Blairgowrie in my Ben Wade Majestic. I like the cut of this tobacco and maybe that is why it smokes so well for me. They call it a "broken flake," but I would say it is a REALLY broken flake. Still--much more substantive than any ribbon cut I have ever smoked. Crown Royal Black with a splash of 7 UP on the side.

Good afternoon, Pipers. Performed mighty works and the yard is once again not an eyesore. Was great to have some decent weather on the weekend. Smoked a little Lancer's Slices in the DGE Nosewarmer, and a lot of OJK in the basket Dublin.
Saw a couple of guys were watching the Cards. (or maybe the Reds and the Cards were there. Can't imagine that though.) Missed the game but I'm happy about the outcome. Looking forward to sitting on the porch this evening, surveying the fruits of my mighty works, and enjoying some great tobacco.

Word to the wise: Don't waste a great tobacco when you are expecting a new router and answering the phone about garage damage. Bengal Slices was great, for what I had. I was constantly having to set it down and thus relighting it. Will give better thoughts upon a second smoke, hopefully soon.
Going to go for some Sutliff Peach Cobbler in a cob to be named later
A bottle of water with some lemon in it, but looks more like nuclear waste.
Such is life

It's nice to sit in a clean, fresh garden with a pipe. Enjoy.

Bill Bailey's Birthday Blend, which I keep smoking for some unknown reason in the Lady Margaret cob My lineup got totally messed up today moving stuff around for the new router, which is going back on Monday. I'll have to find where I put the Larsen Signature and maybe send him in, in relief

A nice smoke of HH Vintage Syrian in my #1 Iron Horse stack after an honest day's work. Hopefully it adds to my lifespan. Old pilots say that God forgives us the time working on airplanes.

Relaxing after a wonderful steak and baked potato dinner with freshly baked chocolate meringue pie for dessert. I'm about half way through this bowl of the illegally delicious Strang in a 2003 smooth medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin and a black acrylic stem. Watching the Braves-Mets game.

Beautiful, fantastic day! I sat out reading while hubby worked in the yard I started my smoking evening at about 5pm.
First off I tried a blend of Old Joe Krantz and Star of the East Gold (recommended by a friend) in a MM Country Gent, sipping water.
Next I had Belmont Station in a MM Twain, still sipping water.
I followed that up with Cockstrong in a MM apple Diplomat, water on the side.
We stopped for dinner -- Bean Soup, then went back outside and lit a fire in the fire pit.
I lit up some Klompen Kloggen in a MM Twain, sipping some Hobgoblin Dark English Ale.
Next was some Balkan Sterling in a MM Country Gent.
Then I had Royal London Dock in a MM apple Diplomat
I finished up with Roll Cake in a MM 5th Avenue Diplomat and also finished off the Hobgoblin.
Had a lovely view today

It was C&D Cavindish Cut Burley on the dog walk in the Invicta Canadian, and then the highlight of the night:
My first bowl of Ennerdale in a new MM Mark Twain supplied in a trade with a buddy on PSF. I sent him a selection of Enlgish and Balkan blends and he sent me a G&H sampler. Ennerdale has knocked my socks off with the first bowl! Simply wonderful stuff. I think I'm a lakelands fan.
