For the first time I can recall, Holger Danske is out of stock at SP. Specifically: Original Mild Orange. I have to assume, pipers have discovered it as an alternative/substitute to Rattray's Exotic Orange.

I never tried that blend, but I've seen you smoke a it. Is it mild as stated?

I can't speak for the mild orange, but the orange and vanilla is mild with respect to the orange component.

I never tried that blend, but I've seen you smoke a it. Is it mild as stated? yes and to me it has a smoother presentation than E/O.

In total agreement with Mike. It was after we both discussed this that the well ran dry. Who can blame them? Me!

In actuality, if we had something to do with it, I am quite pleased. On another orange note the Planta Orange didn't really do it for me. Curious if other Orangiacs feel about it

the only Orange I could detect in the Planta California blend was in its description.

Glad I have my Peach Ice Cream Float. It's about as good and I have enough ingredients to make a couple more pounds

...to me, Rattray's EO is more refined and has a stronger essence of orange...the HD is a fine tobacco as well but does not have the strength of Rattray's...

Agree on the orange content. Believe it is also fuller due to more nicotine content than the HD. The nic is sneaky in E/O, seemingly in hidden pockets and darts in and out, for me. I also find the top of the bowl can verge on harsh with the Rattray's, though it smooths out as you go.

For anyone who's smoked it, how does it compare to McClintock's Orange Dream? That's one that I DO like.
