I have been on an aromatic kick for the last few months and have found that Sutliff aromatics in bulk are fast becoming my go to aromatics. I find that their tobacco doesn't goop up my pipe, bite back, smoke hot and is just a pleasure to smoke. The chocolate Mousse is chocolate upon chocolate and have a chemical taste. Rum and Maple reminds me of breakfast at fishing camp... this is the first tobacco I have tried that has rum and liked. I smoke them because I can enjoy them while doing other things and not have to contemplate all the nuances of a more complex tobacco.

If you want a pleasing Sutliff rum blend, you might consider Barbados Plantation (tin) or bulk: Queen Anne's Revenge. Pipers laud Molte Dolce, while this tasty blend goes unnoticed and is twice as good, imo.

I'm not very conversant on Sutliff,But I share your attraction to aromatics. My favorites, right now,are Cult Blood Red Moon and Lane Limited Dark Red.I do enjoy the variety that PS offers though.

Woof Woof, crapgame ! Chocolate Truffle has a chocolaty flavor that stands out, though it has a tad powdered cocoa flavor. Best chocolate I have had so far. Hine's and VIP have similar flavors, though I think some might agree on Hine's... not to be confused with Heines.

Heine's blend draws my attention even if I've never tried it. Does it really taste like hazel nuts and pineapple? Is it worth investing 16oz?

I have not smoked it enough to get every nuance out of it. It's a great burley. Love the cut. What is sad is the 14 ounces for 40$. I consider many of the codgers as good or better smokes than some of the more uppity brands, but that price is way beyond a pound of Sutliff, many Lanes, C&D's, PS, etc. Still, if you want a tub of a good tobacco, this, CH, EGR. Pricey, but you won't be sad you tried

These 3 border on being over the top, but at times they hit the spot and they are all good base mixers. A. 1-M B. Creme Brulee C. Vanilla Custard
also deserving of mention: Black Cordial.

Sutliff is one of my favorite aro blenders. Barbados Plantation, Aged Maduro Cavendish, Academy, and Molto Dolce are all really good.

I have had the all and I agree that B and C are OUTSTANDING mixers... I mix them 4 parts of the aro blend and 1 part dark fired burley. the 1M i just smoke straight
