Stems just in now. The Orange Swirl Royal is awesome. The 8" churchwarden is a mess. The tenon is way off center so it is crooked on the stem of the pipe. Probably going to contact them about a swap or refund. It just looks stupid.

Stem and shank are mis-aligned rather. I know some of you are sticklers for details.

I'm sure they would rather have people posting and talking about how the made it right rather than how they sent bad merchandise.

Soooo ... am I the only one that actually likes the black plastic stems? They are extremely easy on the teeth and, over time, create an indention that is customized to your clench!  I always figured that if I bought a MM cob, I would replace the cheap stem with a Forever stem. However, after buying a cob, I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the yellow stem that came with my MM Legend is just fine. I don't clench, so can't comment on that aspect. That said, the forever stems look really nice.  |

They answered my email in a matter of an hour or so. He apologized and sent a new one directly with a pre-paid return package for the goofy one. Excellent customer service.

That's part of human nature. The difference is how the mistakes are handled. In this case, what happened would encourage me to shop again and stick with them. Hat's off to them. Udate: I ordered two items and one was amazing, the other flawed. Thought I'd give you guys an update. I sent a pic of the defective stem to Mr Walker and he was appalled. He sent me a new stem and a pre-paid envelope for the old one two days later. The new stem is perfect. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!
