Has anyone tried this blend? What were your thoughts?

Not bad, a bit light, tastewise

I like it but it's not Skiff. I have higher hopes for Meridian. My tin was very well aged and about to burst for what its worth. zver if you're still looking for a very light English this is probably worth trying and it never seems to be out of stock. G.L. Pease has the London Series which has a tiered system of English blends by strength: Chelsea Morning (lighter), Meridian (medium), and Quiet Nights (stronger). Chelsea Morning is about as light as Early Morning Pipe from what I've heard.

Yo zve
Chelsea Morn is one of the light Latakias in my Top300 Cellar, and it is surprisingly complex for a blend that is relatively low in Latakia. It's a great way to start the day, though it's also surprising in having a bit of a nic hit (like most of the Pease blends). It's heavier than Picadilly and a bit lighter than Ashbury.

Chelsea Morning is in my Top 5 blends. Very complex, as lestrout mentioned, and a bit of nic hit if you're a fast puffer, but, very flavorful. To me this is more of what I would call a Virginia heavy, Lat light, Balkan and I could smoke it (and have) all day.

Back when I smoked mostly English blends, I usually started the day with Chelsea Morning or Skiff.

Chelsea Morning is often compared to Early Morning Pipe, but not much like it in my opinion. It's a decent light English blend, but not one that I would buy again. YMMV.
