I heard the other day that the Eagles will tour with Vince Gill taking Glen Frey's voice...makes sense considering Vince's vocal range.
In other news, Lindsay Buckingham was fired by Fleetwood Mac as they are getting ready for a tour...not a big surprise, that has always seemed a rocky relationship.

the Mac are and were one perennial, dysfunctional outfit. I guess the sound of the cash register ringing, is what keeps them together.

Recent reports state Dreams was discovered by a new audience and charts on current play lists . . . . and a few weeks later a Mac tour is in the works. Imagine that.  |

LB was one of the people who made Flee Mac. He had his leg in a cast when we saw him many years ago at the Summit.

Glenn was a great talent, and a great voice, just that Henley has a real distinctiveness in his voice as to how you instantly recognize it, it would be hard to imagine anyone else singing dirty laundry, or Hotel California.... However, I can see Gill getting really close on New kid in town. |
