Oooooooooooooooooh man! Not Necco wafers? I used to pound those little wafers down like crazy when I was a young boy. Well, to tell you the truth, I still buy a pack from time to time of the assorted wafers and the chocolate wafers. I really enjoy the assorted pack though. So, the big question is, are they going to impose a two case limit only, or is the sky the limit on how many cases you can order?  |

I'm not sure if they made the "Stark" brand, but they are very much the same. Candy hasn't been as much fun as when you could get a chickostick or Stark for a nickel.

I love them. All my kids hate them. I still buy them from time to time. I remember seeing the big Necco sign having lived around Somerville for years. I hope they survive as they are a New England tradition.

I don't understand the attraction. I bought some. I tried the fold and stuff method but they just turned to dust. They do have a nice tin note though.

I walked to and from school every day as a very young kid, and on the way were two stores that had everything a boy could want... candy, sports and collector cards, toys, etc... of course they had Necco and Pez - all the best stuff!!! Exactly! We had a little neighborhood market, and of course, one had to pass by it on the way home from school. A Tootsie Roll Pop cost me 2 cents back then; along with those little round sour apple gum balls; of course, loved those cinnamon hot tooth picks too. Some of the best stuff could be had for under 10 cents  |

In my time, candy bars were 5¢ & 10¢. The nickel priced bars were the equivalent of what sells for a dollar today. I was especially fond of Idaho Spuds, Mars, Mounds, Almond Joy and Three Musketeers.

One of my favorite childhood memories was walking to the 7-11, playing a couple of games of pinball, buying a Hulk or X-Men comic, and going home with bunch of candy. Probably cost less than a couple of bucks all together. Now I'm suddenly remembering Bottle Caps, Razzles, Spree, Sweet Tarts, Alexander the Grape, Lemon Heads, Hot Rocks, Pop Rocks, Zotz... No surprise I grew up to like aros! If you can call this being grown up. 😁
