Try a window fan and a smokers candle. Works for my basement mancave. I also use Fabreeze works on clothes... Up to a point.

Is it possible someplace in the room, in a closet or under the carpet or floorboards there’s a dead fish lurking around??? Leave the windows opened and air out the place. If the odor returns I’d power wash the entire room!!
PS Change the soap you use and “ ANY “ friends stop by for a sleep over MUST shower. 👍

So I have the luxury of a four bedroom house and use one of them as an office where I smoke my pipe as a courtesy to the family usually with the door closed. But after a couple days with that room being shut it begins to smell of dead fish or dirty female genitals (to be polite) am I just stuck with leaving the door open to air out or is there another way? You need to get some active ventilation if you're going to close off the room. Plus... change your tobacco to something with a pleasant room note for indoor use. I just recently found Erik Nording's POINTER blend in his hunting series and it has the best room and tin note I have ever had the pleasure to smell.

Yup, smoke a tobacco with a good aroma indoors👍 I’d suggest stop smoking that “ fish fry “ blend indoors 😜😂

Either an ionizer or ozone generator should work.

But the beaver said it was great. It may be the tobacco... Like I've mentioned I don't have a wealth of knowledge to work with. It's a Borkum Riff mixture with cherry Cavendish. Sorry dude but that combo smells worse than any beaver I've encountered !! Put a window exhaust fan in and run it while you smoke and you can try burning one of those "smoker candles" while you smoke. Should take care of the stale beaver smell

Now you know why they call it "cherry" Cavendish. Seriously, you should try a nice vanilla Cavendish. Much nicer room note.

I have the IQAir Plus hospital grade air purifier with huge carbon filter for odors and gasses. Works amazingly well for dust, allergens, smoke and all nasty odors... within 30 minutes in an enclosed 400 square foot room, fresh as a daisy. Somewhat expensive though at $800.00, but well worth it IMO.
