Now smoking Player’s Navy Cut Flake in a 1984 black sandblasted straight Dunhill Shell 4103 Billiard and a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink. Won't finish this smoke before dinner, but I had an urge to smoke it. Watching the Pirates lead the Cubs 1-0 in the 2nd.

A third of the way through this bowl of Solani 633 in a early to mid '70s smooth medium bend Savinelli Autograph 6. Have enough left for one more bowl. Ice water properly chilled along with floaty li'l icebergs is my drink for the rest of the evening. Watching the news.

Half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem. Deciding on what movie to watch next. Suzy's sitting by my side after having plenty to eat. Molly's hanging around trying to figure out her next move.

Last smoke of the day is Heine's Blend in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem. Molly is in play mode, which means I am, too.

Filled my long mouthpiece Butchers Boy, with a mix of Gawiths Kendal Balkan mixture & Stokkebye Kentucky Nougat loose, with a pinch of Troost, St Bruno & 3 Nuns. BBC R3 on with Wagners highlights, thinking of the good doctor and the resurrection.,.

I often do the same and discover very satisfying cocktails, so to speak. Such spirit for exploration can greatly extend the breadth & scope of one's cellar in a kaleidoscopic way - endless possibilities. Many pipe enthusiast resist this experience, but I say FEAR NOT... ONWARD & UPWARD!!! Stay strong, determined, and light-hearted as you journey forth!
