Just ordered some--along with a few other things to get my free shipping.  I had been on their notification list for this for some time and my notification came at 9:18 this morning. So their method of notifying customers seems to work for me. Thanks for the "heads up" anyway Mark. I understand that the email notification doesn't work for everyone. |

Just posted this on the other Presby thread - an email announcement from SP:
"Thanks to a new distribution arrangement, we expect pipe smokers shouldn't have to go without (or at least have to endure crazy dry spells). Starting today. Right now. And so it is with great pleasure that we announce that this elegant mixture of Virginias, Orientals, and Latakia is back in stock at Smokingpipes, where it will continue to be readily available for years to come."
I guess they expect hoarding nevertheless, with the 10 tin limit.

Shane did a video review of it comparing it to Frog Morton...I wonder if I add my whiskey stave in a tin (after recharging) could I recreate FM Cellar?

...I ordered 2 tins...came yesterday...lots of stems in mine...very disappointed to say the least...hope those who ordered have better luck...

As I have never smoked Presbyterian, I didn't know what to expect. Mine had no stems to speak of, but seemed exceptionally dry. |

The only similarity is that they both have Latakia and VA. FM has so much more body, is much sweeter, and has no Orientals other than the Lat (FM Original, anyway). Presby is very light, both in body and flavor, and is heavy on the Orientals. Very far-fetched comparison IMHO. And yes, it does come pretty dry. |

Why does the label say Melange now? I thought it was another remake. I hope it isn't but it sure screams it is.
