Nothing wrong with doing what you feel is best for you, Stan. We will miss you around here, you have been a very active member. Like John said, stop by from time to time, even if your giving up the tobacco, there are plenty of other discussions you can chime in on. Take care of yourself.

OK ... did a different "god" create these herbs than the one that created tobacco?

Soory guys I tried to be friendly & peaceful and share some tobacco, but I have given up the devils weed "Tobacco" for my Godly Christian LEGAL 3 core herbs ancient & modern, new & old, below. For the health & happiness & peace of mind of me and my loved ones, take care folks, both friends & foe. I am resigning xXx - this is not just an "evil weed" (tobacco) forum -, it is also equally a "Pipe" and "Discussion" forum for people all over the world to share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas regarding anything and everything. Herbs for various health and mental benefits may also be enjoyed in our pipes, and you should not feel excluded from sharing your knowledge with us on this topic. I will hope for your return. For the records guys, I thought I would find some clear cut allies in the tobacco community in the war against illegal substances. But I am expecting too much. I have compromised with my tobacco issues and decided to put my little cellar of tobaccos into a big jar together and add "pinches" to my good herbal mixtures for health , well being , contentment and order. For the records guys, I thought I would find some clear cut allies in the tobacco community in the war against illegal substances. But I am expecting too much. None of the pipe forums I've ever visited allow discussion on illegal substances, so gaining allies in that regard is virtually impossible. I wish you well and hope you'll find time to share your views in other areas such as "World News" and the "Hobbies and Interests" sections which aren't tobacco related. In any event I hope you'll stop in and let us know how things are going for you. Take care and don't be a stranger. |

Thank you for your forthright reply, but I am in unknown "territory" on here, and in my locality, I am intimidated by these unwelcome drug gangs in our parish, they seem to bully everyone in their vicious lawlessness . But I am reflecting on the matter, amongst my other "troubles" . So I thank you for your kind thoughts , but I am a bit wary of strangers at my age so please forgive me, for not appearing straightforward, I was trying to fit in with the intentions of the forum at first, and make virtual friends. We can learn from you and vice-versa. Herbs? I am a little familiar with many various herbs that are used in a multitude of ways to treat all sorts of ailments and aide in peace of mind (e.g., teas, cooking enhancements, aromatherapy, etc.,). Tell us what you know about it - I for one would be very interested in what you have to share. You may be pleasantly surprised with our perspectives as well. Virtual friendships needn't be fickle and transient, but rather rewarding and lasting, and without pretense while on a private fishing expedition (it's only fair). |

I will pray and seek guidance on your posts. But no pretense , merely testing the temperature and currents before going into the waters of the pond, this form of communion is new to me and I appreciate your wisdom and suggestions. I am not qualified academically in herbal medicine, but I have a friend who is a Tibetan doctor and I seek guidance from his learning in relation to Western traditions, I have been to a number of Universities and colleges, for my sins, but I do not claim special knowledge or learning, I am a poor student. I seek to learn from all friendly comments. Without being to personal, I have had some recent bereavement, so please bear with me, good folks.
