Hmm- tobacco contains nicotine, who knew? Perhaps we would be better served if the FDA regulated so-called supplements. Many people buy a supplement and have no idea what’s in it. Sometimes they are fatal. I.E. remember the Ephdra Diet pills in the 1990s?

I noticed that warning with the Presbyterian mixture that some people have been showing here.
You're moving in the same direction as us, but at a much slower pace.

Old pipe tin art is so well done it is a shame to put disgusting pictures or bold letters through the front. I wish they would bring back the old screened tins instead of these labels. Much nicer presentation. We should have a thread showing all the old great tin art everyone owns. Why can't they put the warning labels on a plastic wrapping outside the tin art? then it would help to vacuum seal the tin as well as have a nice tin you can have on your desk once you unwrap it. It is really the on the shelf, point of purchase where they wan't to dissuade the buyer anyways. There is a good documentary on the frivolity of this type of messaging. www.pbs.org/video/frontline-persuaders/

I used to get a car magazine that would put funny and interesting things on the last page. One month, they had a picture someone sent in of a road warning sign in San Francisco. As in, the town with lots of hills and the little Rice-A-Roni trolley going up and down.
Some genius in government had put up a yellow triangle warning sign at the base of one of the hills. It read: HILL, under which someone had spray painted the words, 'No shite'.
I would equate that sign to the warning label on tobacco tins.

Okay... how will a bulk blend have this warning on it? Over in the UK, the bluk blend is weighed into standard pouches which contain the warnings and the pictures, etc. I'm not sure what happens if you buy proper bulk...I've never seen anyone do that here, probably because it costs far too much. 50g or maybe 2 pouches of 50g would be the maximum so the standard pouches are all that shops provide.

I tried to check online. My local B&M has a very poor selection...Peterson and Dunhill and some OTC. Online, the only Stokkebye that is sold in the UK is the Kentucky Maroon (Nougat) and Virginia Special. But for that, 1lb would cost around £130, which at today's exchange rate, is about $176.
