John Lawtzke is probably purchasing a Volcano pipe in recognition of the event!  Seriously, the news showed a rock spitting out of a vent...from the distance, it might have been the size of a truck...scary stuff. Nice to live in Arizona..no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no tornadoes, blizzards, flooding is very rare, and no chiggers. I can live with blizzards, tornadoes and the occasional flash flood, but I draw the line at chiggers. |

At work recently I heard a discussion between two black guys...one was a native Californian, the other was a native Nebraska and the subject of chiggers came up.
Californian: I never heard of such a thing!
Nebraskan: Well where I come from they are called Chegroes.
That got the whole lunchroom laughing, Californian and all.
