Couldn't sleep, so I had a snack and am smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem.

Now smoking Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake in a Peterson Killarney bulldog. I’m always amazed when I smoke the same blend in two different pipes and pick out different flavours and nuances. This is in no way a complaint. it’s just my experience, and it’s fun.

so yesterday i put a couple bowls of LL Dark Red thru the Kaywoodie bent bulldog then smoked up the house with a Partagas maduro cigar.wifey has gotten spoiled by me pipes and has decided she doesn't like the smell of cigars.But,,,, she's off with her mother and I'm SMOKING ! This morning I'm kicking off with SPS Black Swan in a Willard carved billiard with a straight stem. |

I tried some 1792 in my corncob pipe. I wasn't real impressed with the smell of it in the tin. I think though it's been the most satisfying out of the few I have tried. Some smell really good but don't smoke as well as they smell...I'm
guessing maybe sugar content has something to do with it.
I have a nice Peterson pipe on the way. Can't wait to try the 1792 in that.
